ALL AND SUNDRY are wheeling out low-cost PCs, designed for and aimed at those who are thin of wallet, but thick enough to be gagging to google.

SIS was called upon by the mighty Intel to come up with a cheapo PC and SIS duly served up a design based around its 662 chipset. The resultant Intel 201GLY (Little Valley) boards feature a soldered-down Celery 200 sequence processor ticking away at 1.2GHz, with integrated sound and graphics, natch.

Dell too wants in on the low-cost, "emerging market" povs' PC and it too has a design it is happy with, based funnily enough on the same board.

Intel's box is above, Dell's is below.

Can you spot the difference, our spokesSiS wondered.

Well, Intel's is hot and Dell's cool, obviously.
