DX1, not the first episode of Microsoft's Graphic structure but rather a very interesting implementation of what Tomshardware called The solution to every gamer's problem. What kind of problem particularly hit gamers and which solution does this product propose. See for yourself.

Xbitlabs tests the AMD Sempron 2600+ CPU. The Sempron range on s754 now spans from 2600+ tp 3100+. The processor is overclocked and compared to the likes of the Celeron D325 and the other Athlons and Pentia's available.

French website 01net has a group test convering entry level 19-inch TFT monitors. They include models from Sony, IIyama and Viewsonic which do not usually propose.

The latest AMD Processor incarnation is under examination at Digital-daily.com. The Athlon 64-939 Winchester gets compared to previous AMD models and the rest. They found it to have powerful overclocking capabilities and to be widely supported.

Many mouse pads claim to be the best for gamers. One of the latest newcomers is the Banshee Pad which gets a chance to prove itself at XYZcomputing. At £20, it is not cheap and performs quite well.

One more mouse pad looking to rule the gamers' world is the XtracPads Hybrid performance mouse pad. ExtremeMHz provides it with a pretty good review of that laser compatible mouse pad.

Peter Barnard from Spodeabode has a huge group test involving 13 graphic cards both in PCI and AGP format. The cards even include a Radeon 9800 Pro and a6800 Ultra. Interestingly enough, most of those cards are available in the UK except for Spode's labs most desirable, the Club 3D X850 XT PE.

Six LGA775 Heat Sink Fans square up at PC Impact to know which one is the best. Two models from Scythe, one from Swiftech and three from Zalman. Oddly no models from thermaltake or sunflower for example. Anyway, a good review to show you what to look for in your future HSF. µ
