Xbox 360 Elite hits eBay

Currently cheaper than PS3 in UK

YOU CAN'T STOP the Internet. Even though Microsoft's spring update of the Xbox 360 line-up isn't officially out, a user from Chico in California went out to local Target store and simply bought one.

Now, it's being sold on eBay, with current price (at the time of writing, 1day 17hours before auction end) of around 800 dollars. Converted to pounds, it is still cheaper than PlayStation 3 in the UK.

Imagine the surprise to all PS3 buyers in UK when they learn that this Xbox 360 comes not just with HDMI connector, but also with HDMI cable, same thing for which Brits (and not just them) had to pay additional 25-100 squid, depending on the colour of the metal connectors. Hardware specs of the console are same as the regular Xbox, only with added 120GB hard drive and the paint-job changed from an iPodish white to a Dellish black.

Alternatively, you can skip whole Xbox 360 Elite madness and just buy xSATA adapter, and put in hard drive of your preference. It's probably cheaper as well. µ
