The brightest cake in the world arrives

GDC 007 Brought to you by Real

USUALLY WE DON'T fall for cheeseball PR stunts, but this one involved searingly bright red and purple cake.

I know what popped into your head, the new game Real is publishing, Cake Mania.

The cake itself is really odd, but it it is a lot better than the muffins they have on hand at Moscone Center, and make a dandy breakfast when coupled with diet Mountain Dew. The game is originally developed by Sandlot Studios but I have no idea what it looks like.

Real-cake-inside

As you can see, the cake itself is a three layered affair, covered in a brightly coloured something with the consistency of the clear plastic packaging electronics come in, that you need a chainsaw to open. The cake itself is a little dry, but that is what the diet Dew is for. Oh yeah, Real Gamehouse Studios is publishing it, not Real itself.

If you are watching the news tonight and see reports of a person climbing buildings in SF naked throwing organic granola at pedestrians while singing Karen Carpenter songs, blame this cake. It will be Real fun until the cops show up. µ
