Jews for Jesus sue Google

No forgiveness there my boy

JEWS for Jesus, a born again Christian Group, is suing Google claiming that a bog hosted through its Blogspot infringes its trademark.

The suit demands that Google hand over control of Blogspot and unspecified amounts of cash.

A spokesJewforJesus said that the organisation had a god given, and legal, right to its name and Google had allowed the use of our name on Blogspot without its permission.

The bog that has got everyone miffed is http://jewsforjesus.blogspot.com which was started by someone called "Whistle Blower". The bog airs critical views of the San Francisco-based organisation, which seeks to convert Jews to Christianity.

As far as bogs go it is not the most prolific. It only has three entries and the last one of those were in May.

Jews for Jesus are running the legal attack a bit like a cyber squatting case. Apparently they asked Whistle Blower nicely to hand over his bog domain name but he or she told them to go forth and multiply.
