Yet another Iphone lawsuit springs forth

I SPY WITH my little eye, something beginning with ‘yet another Apple lawsuit’.

This time it’s a disgruntled chap from San Diego, demanding compensatory and punitive damages from both Apple and AT&T for misleading advertising, or as the claimant puts it, "Apple Computer Inc., ... and AT&T have misrepresented the speed, strength and performance of the 3G-bandwidth network".

In other words, “I bought it because it was pretty, but now I’ve realised it doesn’t really work very well and I’m angry abut being such a sucker”.

William J. Gillis Jr, the unhappy Iphoner, is the second person to sue the fruity toymaker in frustration after the firm has failed to come up with a suitable 3G fix. A woman by the name of Jessica Alena Smith filed a similar suit last month.

A victim of its own popularity, the Iphone seems to be overwhelming the AT &T infrastructure, leading to many a failed call and sluggishly-slow Internet speeds on the device, making many feel very I-unhappy.

Gillis is so miffed, he has even petitioned the judge to make his case a class action suit, inviting other iRritated users to line up for a big bite out of the Apple. Core blimey. µ

Isn't there some sort of universal rule that says media only use more than first & last names, if the person is an assassin or convicted serial killer ??

Is there more to this story than the pubilc are being told??

Should we all be very afraid ??

3G is not broadband!

you can only get decent speeds when the cell is relatively vacant. once you have too many people on, speeds shoot down DRAMATICALLY.
it was never designed to work at high speeds.
we'll wait for WIMAX...

simple

It's called ATT is stupid for having 3G phones use 3G for voice. They should leave voice on GSM and 3G for internet.
