Today is GT day

TODAY IS THE DAY that the wraps finally come off Nvidia's 8800 GT. Frankly, we're a little bit sad. When the world+dog finally gets its hands on the card, what are we going to speculate about?

We suppose its not all bad. With big releases coming up from DAAMIT next month, we'll just have to turn our attention to the red team.

Those folks that were brainwashed by Nvidia at the Green Team HQ last week will all be sticking to the 2pm publishing deadline, if they know what's good for them. So far, no one has gone early, bar those boys in Taiwan that haven't strayed too close to an official Nvidian representative for their samples.

We'll make sure you get a round up of the coverage later on today, right here at your erstwhile INQ. However, gazing into our crystal ball, we're guessing plenty of positive headlines, along the lines of "the 8800 is dead... long live the 8800." Or somesuch. µ
