Tue Jun 04 2002, 15:20
OUR FRIENDS over at Geek.com have been investigating AMD's parts pricing and have turned up a veritable catalogue of processors on offer at well below Cheapzilla's official prices.

"AMD's price lists are a joke," syas RobGeek who has been ferreting around for the best deals on AMD processors and published his findings here.

Rob says he can't find any evidence of Intel indulging in similar practices.

Rob says he was inspired to investigate AMD prices by stories here outlining the way AMD's official price lists lagged behind prices disties were already paying for their AMD kit.

AMD is still to come up with an explanation for the pricing policy that we can understand. ยต
