IT CAN be difficult to imagine something like File Transfer Protocol being 'cute', but GlobalScape's successful FTP manager is in its eighth iteration so there must be something to it. BIOS magazine has had a peek at GlobalScape CuteFTP Professional 8.0 and there is good news, such as pod casting support and PGP encryption, but there is also some bad news involving something called an Open SSH server.

TweakTown has reviewed the rather odd, but remarkably tantalising Thermaltake Mozart TX - Monster Dual System HTPC Enclosure, this rather large cube tower design can support two systems and packs a range of other quirky features such as an optional 7" retractable LCD screen.

Virtual-Hideout brings us the Razer AC-1 Barracuda 7.1 Sound Card Review. Razer became well known for high quality gaming mice and have since branched out into other components including sound cards, and it looks like come up with another high quality product with the Barracuda.

According to TweakTown the ASUS P5B-E Plus Motherboard is fighting to be king of P965. It performs well, scoring a respectable 8.5/10 but can't quite match the performance of the Gigabyte DQ6, although it is cheaper.

Bjorn3d has powered up the ETASIS ET850, 850 Watt Power Supply which is stable, quiet and has amongst its list of achievements Nvidia Certification for dual 8800 GTX, 8800 GTS, and quad SLI operation.

Bit-tech has reviewed the eye-wateringly expensive BFGTech 8800 GTX Watercooled Edition. It performs beautifully and as the reviewer points is only marginally more expensive than if you purchased a standard BFG8800 card and separate water cooler, but this way you get to keep your warranty.

LaptopLogic brings us the 2.5-Inch Perpendicular Recording HDD Roundup which begins with a basic explanation of how perpendicular hard drives work. Does this mean that if I tip my laptop on its side I can store more data on it?

HardwareLogic has pumped out the Zalman Reserator 1 V2 Fanless Watercooling Kit Review and if you're looking at a water cooling system to help eliminate the noise fans from your PC then this is well worth a read. ยต
