Microsoft Fright Stimulator X DX 10 update delayed

DirectX10 version not on track
Fri Dec 22 2006, 11:05
WE DON'T know the exact date but we know that Flight Simulator X, one of the first DirectX 10 patched titles has been delayed. It won't make for the Vista launch and we will be lucky if we see a beta at that time. DirectX 10 hardware delayed the Direct X 10 update for this game.

The DirectX 10 market is a tricky one. You heard the AMD boy making a strong statement here. Two top titles - Crysis from Crytek and Microsoft Flight Simulator X both DirectX 10 are both delayed.

Some say Crysis will arrive April 2007 but no one really knows including the company owners - the famous Yerli brothers Cevat, Avni and Faruk. This affects everyone but mostly Nvidia, Electronic Arts and the mighty Vole itself as well as AMD-ATI and Intel.

DirectX 10 gaming is still far away - at least till late Q1 2007 for the first title, at least that is what we believe. µ
