Palin personal email hacked

Anonymous strikes again
Friday, 19 September 2008, 11:59

US HACKERS HAVE targetted Republican vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

Hacking into Palin’s personal Yahoo email account, the mischief makers posted several messages alongside family snaps from her inbox.

John McCain, Palin's campaign running mate, denounced their activity as "a shocking invasion of the governor's privacy and a violation of the law" – well he’s not wrong.

This woeful tale comes in the middle of suspicions that Mrs Palin used her personal email account to conduct state business – Palin could have utilised her personal account, as all official government business must be archived – however personal email can be deleted.

Mrs Palin is now under investigation in Alaska for alleged abuse of power while governor.

Well known mischief monkeys Anonymous claimed responsibility for the act – the information including an address book, photos and messages was taken from gov.palin@yahoo.com.

The McCain campaign said that, "The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them.”

Both personal email accounts gov.palin@yahoo.com and gov.sarah@yahoo.com have now been shut down. µ

Corporatist comments

Apparently the corporatist readers are cranky because they lost money in the marvelously un-regulated financial markets.
[irony]Remember, the only way to get out of this one is to remove all regulations (and reach the next crisis sooner), oh and obviously vote for the Palin/Rove ticket[/irony]. The lady likely broke the law by using a personal email for state affairs, but more importantly was completely oblivious to the risks. I guess that proves all creationists are stupid.

The Good, The Bad & Mr. Cell Phone

The attack on Governor Sarah Palin’s privacy is inexcusable. Americans have constitutional guarantees, among them the right to be secure in their papers. In a hastily worded statement the Associated Press informed the Secret Service, “No way dude, are we givin’ up them emails. Ask anybody; she got hacked fair & square. Like get your own story man, this one’s ours.” Due to the nature of the electronic medium, the Palin case should be groundbreaking.

Again, Mr. cell phone is not your friend: whenever one’s cell phone is switched on, just turned on, even if it's not a GPS enabled device, it emits a signal that anyone who obtains your SIM card number may track with an array of inexpensive software. GOOGLE GPS tracking devices. The phone’s speaker can also be remotely activated for use as a listening device. Perhaps you’re wondering, as did I, how certain individuals seem to know your whereabouts, or manage to show up when and where they do. High tech lends the good, the bad & the ugly a level of sophistication hitherto unimagined. Suggest: remove the battery when not in use: http://theseedsof9-11.com

Americans are ignorant.

The most complimentary thing you can say about Palin's intelligence is that she is average. Truly anybody can be President of the United States.

Dear Americans;
Increasing your rhetorical volume does not make your views anymore sound than they were before you started yelling and throwing poop around your cage.

Hacker caught!

In other news, the recently arrested David Kernell, who is suspected as being the hacker who compromised Sarah Palin's personal e-mail address, admitted to being a large scale internet terrorist earlier this week. In a statement made during his interrogation Kernell boasted that his viruses had affected hundreds of thousands of computers over the course of the last several months. Kernell then stated that he named this virus after himself, calling it, 'Kernell32.dll.' Computer analysts are looking into this issue but in the mean time they say that if you feel your computer might be infected run a search for the file name. If this file is found on your computer delete it immediately. If the file is located within your Windows System folder then it is very possible that your computer is fully compromised and you'll have to delete the Kernell32.dll file as soon as possible.

Haha.

I don't think it is called hacking, if you type in the Zipcode of her Home in the password field at Yahoo! She is just plain stupid, nothing else.

Personal email for business?

It's sickening and highly suspect to see that she highly likely used a yahoo account to do government business.. Why otherwise call the gov.palin and gov.sara....

Looks like the email parallel to a Mafia double bookkeeping system.. So the real question is.. why did she have these accounts, and WHAT DOES SHE HAVE TO HIDE.. The quick closing of the accounts also points in this direction...

Err, pay attention Rob

Yes Rob, it would be just AWFUL if she HAD used her personal email for government business.

But, since she didn't, all your mock indignation is in the toilet along with what passes for your principles.

Where is your indignation that a Vice Presidential candidate's personal account was hacked?
