Lenovo to open big Polish PC factory

Fifth announcement this year

CHINESE PC GIANT Lenovo said it will open a factory and " fulfilment centre" in the Legnica Special Economic Zone in Poland.

The 30,000 square metre factory will swing into action in the third quarter of next year, and produce two million desktops a year.

A thousand people will work in the factory when it's up and running, and it's the fifth factory and fulfilment centre Lenovo's announced this year.

The others are in Shanghai, North Carolina US, Monterrey in Mexico, and Baddi in India. µ
