DivX inks pact with AMD
For tomorrow's tellies

VIDEO COMPANY DIVX said it has an agreement with AMD to include DivX video technology with specific AMD Xilleon™ processors to bung in upcoming digital tellies.
The goal, said Kevin Hell, CEO of DivX, Inc, "is to create a seamless media experience where consumers can enjoy high-quality video on any kind of device."
The companies said they will work together to get DivX certified for some AMD Xilleon processors. µ
