Titus drops Virgin Interactive name

TITUS INTERACTIVE has announced that it's Virgin Interactive subsidiary will now be known as Avalon Interactive.

The change, which was officially operative on the 1st July, will see Avalon Interactive distribute all of the future Titus Interactive / Interplay games throughout Europe. Some of these, to be released before the end of 2003, include:

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 (Playstation 2 and Xbox)
Barbarian (Playstation2, Xbox, GameCube and Gameboy Advance)
Galleon (Xbox and PC)
Hunter (GameCube)
Fallout Brotherhood of Steel (Playstation2 and Xbox)
Lionheart (PC)
Robocop (Playstation2, Xbox and Game Boy Advance)
Top Gun Combat Zones (Gameboy Advance)
Run Like Hell (Playstation2 and Xbox)

According to a press statement, the name change comes after obtaining an "agreement with Virgin interactive Entertainment Europe Ltd creditors in order to restructure the company's debt, spread out over 5 years and six months, with 60 monthly payments." ยต
