Wham bam thank you SRAM
Tue Oct 31 2006, 02:21
THE SEMI division of Sony is the latest to receive notice from the US Department of Justice (DoJ) that it wants information about static random access memory (SRAM).

Sony joins others who have been asked to supply information about the SRAM market including Mitsubishi and Cypress.

The exact nature of the investigation remains unclear, but some speculate that the DoJ is flushed with its success in securing convictions and a vast amount of money after investigating a DRAM price fixing cartel.

Sony said it is cooperating with the DoJ's inquiries. ยต
