Mobile phone finds London bogs

Sat Lav dumps toilet information online
Friday, 30 November 2007, 08:16

LONDONERS urgently needing a Nintendo will be able to consult their mobile phones thanks to a new interweb service that will find users the nearest loo.

Westminster City Council has released a service called SatLav which can find the nearest of 40 public toilets.

According to AP, all Londoners need to do is text in the word 'toilet' into their mobile mobile and you will get an SMS with the address of the nearest loo.

The move is designed to stop the torrent of more than 10,000 gallons of urine, or London Pride as it is also known, which ends up in the streets of Westminster each year.

The Number One of the British Toilet Association director Richard Chisnell praised Westminster council for providing the first 'fully managed service' in the country. µ

Phones and Bogs dont mix

Hey, my phone found a London Bog last weekend. Unfortunately it wasn't waterproof and broke.

Note to self: Next time, resist urge to check txt msgs while urinating.

Are there really only 40 public loos in the whole of London?

If so, no wonder people go on the street...
