Wants to revive business
Fri Jul 29 2005, 16:28
QUANTUM MICROCOMPONENTS said it is interested in acquiring tiny.com and the company's assets after the owner, Granville Technology, went into administration earlier this week.

Managing director Chris Grierson told the INQ that he has already made a formal approach to the administrators for the business, and is in discussions.

As well as reviving tiny.com, Quantum Microcomponents would provide ongoing customer support for tiny.com customers too, he said.

Quantum manufactures around 60,000 PCs per year, mainly for the white box end of the market, and also trade under the URL www.directfrom.com. µ
