More to the point, the site even has an advert. The Alex cartoons are sponsored by Black n' Red notebooks. This was a new brand to the INQ, until we realised they were serious. They really are paper based products.
It takes some people a lot longer to get used to all this new-fangled mobile Internet stuff. The press release had loads of gushing quotes from all those involved. But forgot the most important part, how do you actually get to the site?
Luckily the site's creators, Graphico, aren't quite so stupid. You can get the cartoons by texting Alex to 82088 or go direct by typing in mobilealex.telegraph.co.uk. That's a mere 52 key presses.
Luckily the Telegraph has a page which explains how you can pay for things on the WAP site. It includes instructions for how to pay via Paypal and Bango. Apparently this works for subscribers on GSM networks who can't pay via reverse premium rate SMS.
Anybody know if Dilbert is available by WAP? µ
