Asus offers prizes for keen system builders

Build and enter the raffle

MOBO FIRM Asus said it is holding a competition for "elite" do it yourself builders that tests your skill in building systems using its 915 and 925 based motherboards.

If you put together a high performance PC using Asus 915/925 mobos, you have a chance to win A730 PDAs and Asus M6N notebooks.

To enter, you have to build the system and overclock it with all your might, run one of the four benchmark programs on the Asus site, and send in results, photographs and online filings using its prize site - here.

The firm said that the first raffle, held daily between the 1st of October and the 15th of November, gives you the chance to win a $599 Asus A730 PDA.

The second stage is a raffle draw on the 16th of November, which lets you win a $1,900 Asus M6N notebook.

Asus is also offering a daily quiz challenge between now and November 15th. The more correct answers you give the better the chance you have to win a P5GD2 Premium motherboard. That's here.
