It is a FACT!

"If you're going to use apps and the camera on a daily basis the Iphone 4S is the better choice even though it locks you into Apple's ecosystem."

Excuse me, but doesn't Windows Phone 7.5 lock you into Microsoft's ecosystem? Doesn't Android lock you into the Google ecosystem? Just stick to the facts and leave the religion out of it, will you?

^^^^^
So true. But it is the difference in between the ecosystem that should be obvious to you here. For one example, with Apple you pretty much stuck with either 3,4, or 4s. that's it my friend. And if that don't matter, then you're okay. So it is a fact andoid ecosystem is wider and more open budy.

SD memory

Dear Lawrence D'Oliveiro: No detachable SD card in WP7 is a very calculated "omission". Rather than having customers putting in less than stellar quality cards, MS decided to not allow that feature. I have one LG E900 w 16 gb of built in storage and one ZTE Blade with an extra SD card of 8gb. In order to access the SD card in my Android phone I have to open the back cover of and remove the battery to access the SD card slot. How I would do that witout a rebbot is beyond me. My LG E900 has 16 MB of storage, which if enough for me. On my Blade I frequently get the message that I am running out of memory, I have yet to get that message on my WP7.5 Mango unit.

Windows Phone Cannot Handle Removable Storage

It seems to be a fundamental limitation of Windows Phone that you cannot add or remove storage without rebooting. That’s why these phones don’t have SD card slots.

Probably runs out of drive letters or something. Or maybe it’s a Windows Registry corruption problem.

Sick of silly bulls**t in Inquirer reviews...

Good review

Minor inaccuracies aside, I thought that was a well balanced review.

I have been reading a lot of tech site and newspaper reviews, and a lot of them were awful and biased.

scratch proof really,

it's so clear you have hacked that camera panel to death, i have had a nokia N97 mini for 2 years now and there not a mark on it, that kind of wear and tear on that camera body has so obviously been done so purposely to make a point !

Scratch-proof

For goodness sake - the 'scratches' you show in the photograph of the camera panel are apparent because you haven't removed the protective plastic film that covers the panel. This will impact on the quality of photographs too, and increase light glare. Have you never unpackaged electronics before?

Please, do a little bit of research before writing

I stopped reading this article when I got to this sentence in the second or so paragraph: "The 12.1mm chassis is moulded from a single piece of polycarbonate..." I wish these pseudo-expert technology writers would do a little bit of RESEARCH before gabbing with their big mouths. The phone's case is not moulded, it is machined, and that makes a huge difference with respect to the quality of the feel and the strength of the case.
