For me I'd not even blame a person who set fire to sony CEO's kids and then refused to spit on them. (proverbially to illustrate an extremely unacceptable thing)

And that's because how sony treats people with secretly installing hacks in people's system, I had to remove 2 of them myself and one of those twice.

They should just find a fix for this and count their losses, all they achieve with a suit is that even if they win the next hacker will just be more careful about protecting his identity. Oh and some lawyers will get a lot of money if they do suits.

For a start, did Brent say he was pirating/ripping games? And a second thing, if every appliance he had looked like a PS3 I'd say he had good taste.

If you really really want to protect your interests from your consumers, then do not sell your interests to said consumers.

I could care less if want to turn your PS3 or XBOX into an easybake oven but this is about a business protecting its interest including those companies who create great games for these systems. these companies spend millions of dollars creating these games and consoles and you feel that it should be given to you for free, well maybe you should work for free also. Toasters are a lot cheaper than the PS3/XBOX LOL.

To hack is to be free of corporate crap you own what you buy and if I want to make my PS3 into a toaster or an Xbox emulator that is my business and Sony the US courts and anybody else can piss off because its mine!!

The claim that the hack was a result of Sony removing Other OS, is just plain pathetic. Sony removed Other OS, because GeoHot started hacking it. I can't wait for Sony to start churning out the firmware updates, I'm hoping they are massive enough to brick every hacked PS3 console and melt the Hard Drive too, I can't wait, then all you hacking douchebags can call/email GeoFailFlow to help you write a petition to Sony wanting your money back. I hope Sony squashes these hacking douchebags and renders all hacked PS3 consoles useless to PSN and disable DLC. I like to know where ppl get off thinking that Sony some how is in the business of giving media entertainment for free, because in the end that is where all this leads too and thats piracy.
