Down for maintenance...

Nobody that knows what they are doing takes a live server down for that long for "maintenance"... Just admit it, it's broken.

If you have maintenance/upgrades to do you deploy them in a test environment first, check them out, and write a full roll back plan. Then when you deploy it live it should work... And of course you have a redundant system there so you can switch back over to that's still running the old system don't you?

Can you imagine if google went down for maintenance for that long? The world (well the world for the general population of surfers) would end!

All news is biased

All news is biased. Though maybe people think their news is more "trustworthy" because they've paid for it. The key is to sample news from many sources, especially those that don't agree with your opinions, and then make an educated judgment.

Oh dear

so I won't be able to access the biased rubbish on their site.
Well no change there, You can usually read it elsewhere for free anyway (and usually less biased)
