@W.-

Yes. I bought a slightly more expensive but similarly-styled model in person while abroad in HK and have had no problems. This was the only weblink that I could find to illustrate the likeness in style. Sorry for the confusion.

@octagonalman

Did you read the reviews on that last link you gave? The thing breaks down in less than a week for most users, so basically that's not a real product at all, you might dub it a one-use throw away item if anything, but that's not comparable to a normal flashdrive.

Perhaps XEX had meant to refer to something a bit more like this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25557

.

@XEX You've missed the point, the point is that it's low profile so you can leave it in and it won't bend or break your port when you move your laptop around.

Overpriced

I do not see a need to pay premium for things that can be obtained for much less.

Take this one:

Insert your favorite micro sd card and voila! you have micro flash drive for far less.

leave it in usb?

IIRC, they said that USB flash drives have poor power supplies, so that you should keep it plugged in only as long as it takes to copy stuff. otherwise it will break in time.

anyway, the whole point of usb flash is portability, obv.
