The WUSB distance and speed dropoff are all defined already, hit wikipedia or usb.org.

I think we can assume that if it can work at the same distance as far as USB's 2.1 standart max cable distance, it will do as they are advertising, and I think it will be really great...

Sure we got many other wireless standarts, but none of them was yet implemented for devices like SD cards (I know about photojojo's wireless SD card, but that's not a industry standart). That would allow for much cheapier wireless devices, and many novel applications.

If you embbed that WUSB chip on the camera and put an WUSB adapter on your PC, that would work like an USB cable... The only husle I can think of is the need of a software driver for the WUSB receiver on your PC.

Can it function as a USB cable to the camera? meaning can I use my digital camera as a wirless camera now and it will just stream to my PC as if I had a USB cable connected? The camera only seeing it as a cable or memory card?

Meaningless with no distance quoted

These technical specifications are meaningless if we don't know the distance they're suppose to travel over?

Is it 5 meters or 5 cm?
