If I get a new netbook, it's going to be based on a significant decrease in width and in weight.

Right now I'm at about 2 lbs and 1/2 inch. I'd like to see 1/4 inch and under a pound.

Then I'll buy (or rebuy in my case).

So far I like Samsung products.
I have had a 24" Samsung 1920 x 1200 monitor going on two years now, works great. They also make a nice compact low priced wireless Laser Printer (ML-2525W) I picked up to rid myself of a ink hungry Deskjet. Works great too and Samsung has Linux drivers for it at their website.
