Makes me wonder what was the real reason to kick him out !!!

Hurds exit costs HP 30 Million because there was a problem with a few thousand bucks on his expense reports. Really??? That makes sense ;-)

Ah, and of course the trust issue because of he had relations with a woman that worked for him. I guess a quarter of all Wall Street execs would have to go for that.

Makes me wonder what was the real reason to kick him out !!!

COPO for CEOs

The real issue was that Hurd was, in fact *cleared* in the whole mess (despite his admissions of fudging). Is the suit that Hurd should have been forced out uncompensated (basically fired) over what turns out were untrue allegations, or that Hurd should have, in fact, remained CEO, and that the rest of the board that forced Hurd out should themselves be tossed for unfairly tarnishing HP's reputation? The real horror story is that CEOs have almost *never* gotten fired for any sensible reason (unless they have also been convicted of a crime) - consider that the CEO Hurd replaced (Carly Fiorina) was also bounced for non-performance reasons.
