For whoever asked for XP,
do you really expect.. things to be continually released for such an old OS ?!
I really liked Win3.1 for a while too.. but after learning Win95 it was better.. I think you will find the same eXPerience if you try something more recent, like say Windows 7.
2001 called and wanted its OS back!

It is great that IE9 is exclusive for Vista and Win 7.
Native refers to the gpu being used for the graphics display through Direct2D, to the Javascript rewrite to bare metal and to html 5 wonders which makes plugins more unecessary to interact with the native internet.
Good = speed + HTML5 support
!Great = many Windows users would be left in the cold...
But but not all is lost... quite a few modern browsers out there for grab, and for free...
