PS3 died also

Im very angry that after seeing other users have also experienced their PS3's yellow light of death after updating, that sony won't replace them for less than £130, it should be free as it is their fault. Any ideas on how to complain and try get sony to replace??

All PS3 owners are fanbois?

As a serious gamer I own the Xbox 3fixme too... so will that cancel out my being a fanboi? wow

this is responsible journalism???

Fanboi?!

I agree with BP. Why am I a "fanboi" just because I own a PS3?

My ps3 died

My Ps3 died straight after this update! So I had to shell out £130 for a replacement! They said the update and the fact my PS3 died was just a coincidence.

BA!

Who?

Fanbois? Really? That's what you call every PS3 owner? How cliche and juvenile.

Yes, there are plenty of fanboYs out there; but some of us just like to watch BR movies and stream media.

So, kindly get a life and, perhaps, a writing style of your own.

What about model's totally bricked by the update?

Too bad they haven't acknowledged the potential for this update to brick a PS3. I would love to boot my PS3 up and be able to do anything with it, alas I can't. As soon as I flick the PSU switch in the back of the console I am greeted with a blinking red light and three quick beeps. I am not able to eject the Netflix movie that was in there at the time of update or anything. After talking to support they say I need to send the PS3 in for repairs to the tune of $149 + $29 shipping + ? taxes.

That's insane!
