the angle you need to point your wrist to use the thing is likely to result in wrist strain. It looks silly like a glow stick and also distracts you from the game waving a light in front of you! what a silly design?!!
ODd comments, of course it's not like the eyetoy, that was not 3D and didnt' have acceleration sensors and is not comparable.
As for approachable, seems dead simple to me, and it's nice that they even realize there are lefthanded people too and people who will hold a paddle in a different way.
So it seems OK, and the reaction speed isn't too bad either, there's lag so it's not like playing real tabletennis for instance, but the lag is within reason.
So that's all positive except that it is sony, and I for one will not support sony, they are bastards that tried to mess up my computer many times, and they run the MPAA and such, so no, you won't get my appreciation only my honesty about this product.
Can we all agree that it is no where near as approachable as nintendos solution.
You can the person demoing the games is having problems using it. How is this going to catch the casual gamers who dont know how to tekken 10 hit combos.

Seems like you are playing with an cone ice cream... That thing is ugly as hell on a stick.

Couldn't you do most of this on the original EyeToy with your hands? Adding a Wii style remote is not creative!
Now you can play either with your Wii or with your glowing orbs...
I'm speachless...
