Just like in yoorp, everyone hits MSN when they turn on their computers. In japan, they hit yahoo.co.jp, they always have, they always will. Rather like lemmings. They think it's more ... Japanese! (one look at yahoo.co.jp will likely drive you crazy with the sheer noise! Chinese sites are even worse!)

Y! japan is basically the Matmos. It's actually a softbank sock.

They are the only auction site in japan worth bothering with. Their news site is way better than google's, you can get train times, shop for tampons you name it, all from Y! japan's portals.

yeah, I agree. The "hatred" it seems was made up. I don't see MS being mad, put off a little, but not mad. The author was obviously trying too hard to make a story out of nothing.
