I had problems syncing with Exchange for a long time and I am a Windows Mobile user. It seems to be fixed in 6.5, but if MS have trouble getting it working, it seems a bit unreasonable to come down too hard on Apple. Oh ..., and USB sync is still to unreliable to use on Windows Mobile.
We are seeing successes and failures for people accessing mail/calendar. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. My 3GS is fine. Others are not. No rhyme or reason to the failures.
I upgraded my 3GS to iOS4 with great excitement...just to watch my Exchange go down in flames.
Poor email sync, can't sent, can't find server.
Then I got my shiny new iPhone 4, an improvement, due to speed improvements it fails faster than my 3GS. Wife's phone is similarly effected. Seems to work for a bit then crap out.
iPad still on 3.x works perfectly. I'm on Exchange 2007.
This is my favorite iPhone quote since all the hoopla started:
"Mind you, given that other Iphone 4 users can't even get reliable wireless radio connectivity, the barefaced cheek of users complaining at being unable to access such luxuries as email and calendars is appalling."

I'd still rather be an Apple user.

I am having no problem whatsoever with Exchange email or calendaring. On Exchange 7.x
Like the important point of which versions of exchange it's broken for?
