A different opinion

I'm glad to see a 1.8" HDD that has standard SATA connectors instead of the crap, proprietary connectors in the current 1.8" drives. I do backups in my shop and the damn 1.8" to SATA adapters break if you look at them with a nasty look. We stopped trying and sent folks elsewhere.

drivel

can't say i blame 'em for the 'arse-kick' pricetag. if i was in the technology business i would exploit every last £1 from the idiots out there that swallow every micron of hype and HAVE to have a new device before anyone else.
conversely, the rational thinking world has to wait for the prices to become realistic
so once again we suffer becuase of the world's idiots...

Cost For ALL SSD Is Way Out of Line....

Sure, small Falsh can sell four clams GB. there are 512 Micro card USB Flashers. In Toggle Market maybe four clammers GB Is Developemental Cost.

However, SSD Are Getting Larger, Way too Larger To Charge 4 Bucks GB. Way Way too much coin for short lived device. 512 Gb today in Flash SSD toggle market 2 TB by end of Year.

Somehow Chirps of Mouth have ?ester Cow chips of Anus. Flaoting Out for ALL Whom Don't Mind repugnet Wallet Pop Oderous Cost.

Hard to Justify $8,000 SSD that has less life expectancy than $100 Hdd. Do theIII & Do RAID. Maybe better yet, Try Pci-e SSD. Do theSPEED.
