Why would I want a TV with internet connectivity? So that the TV companies can tell what programs I watch? So they can tell if Im watching the adverts like a good little consumer? So they can disable certain programs if I dont watch enough adverts? After all, if you dont watch the adverts, youre *stealing* television!

While were at it, why dont they shove a webcam in there so that it can do face recognition to stop my kids watching "adult" content? They wont use it so that Big Brother can keep tabs on us all, honest! Will nobody think of the children?!

I'd prefer if Lovefilm (and Auntie Beeb) would release official Windows Media Plugins for their internet services. Like netflix have done in the colonies. Save having to get up and kneel at the tv almost in prayer while I fumble with the keyboard and mouse, searching for the next film or VOD Tv episode.
