Clueless people reviewing TV's

"As customers realise that wearing a pair of tasteless plastic glasses doesn't contribute much to the ultimate viewing experience"

The only people who say things like this usually have ZERO understanding of the technology and seem to think that glassless (autostereoscopic) TV's are just around the corner. And they also don't understand the major limitations of these sets. Not to mention they seem to all be little fashion diva's.

Wearing 3D glasses has nothing to do with it being a fashion statement! They are no more of a bother than regular sun glasses. Do you also worry about going out when the sun is out because yo have to wear sun glasses? Well, 3D is watched in your home, ( but it's probably mommy's basement in your case), few will notice you are wearing them. Also it's "REALIZE" not "REALISE". OMG, idiot!

random info

This resolution (4096x2160 pixels) is also used on some Samsung screens, then called "SuperVision technology".

2160p resolution = 3840 x 2160 pixels.

4kW of power

+/- 1kW i estimate. Plus 6kW +/- 2 kW for cooling the house, total 7-13 kWh addition to your energy bill every hour.

Great resolution though. All 30-32" monitors have to have that resolution already to qualify for idiotic name "retina display"
