This is just sad

Ok so they are investing in a service which hasn't even launched yet, no one has actually seen running in the wild since they've cancelled practically every public beta test they ever planned, has skipped the vast majority of major conferences since it's announcement cause they didn't have anything worth showing and most of the experts say is impossible to work anywhere nearly as well as they claim. What idiot working for BT decided to do this?

I'm sorry but Onlive is a joke and you think your isp gets annoyed with you now just streaming a couple gigs of tv a week, how do you think they are gonna react when you start streaming a couple hundred gigs of gaming a month? Seriously I ran the numbers myself and assuming normal gaming habits and a decent quality of visuals and audio you're looking at somewhere in the range of 180-250 gigs of data a month and this is assuming only 1 gamer per connection. If you have multiple gamers your transfer amounts will increase exponetially not to mention the quality of service is gonna decrease if they try to play at the same time. Then again the quality of service is gonna decrease anyway with family members or roommates even just browsing the web. The simple fact is having multiple devices along with a minimum of few kilometers of copper wire or even fiber between you and where your game is being played is never going to be as stable or good as playing it on a box right in front of you.
