I could not get my 980X over 4.0G without massive voltage increases - and Intel's spec sheet says do not exceed 1.4v - ever. I thought it was my Intel Dx58SO that was not up to the task of supporting this 6 core cpu, but more people show they hit the same wall with speed and voltage. Mind you at 4.0G running Prime95 I run at 65C. So 4.0G at 1.32v is where I live...
