Cassy this is the INQ. Anything Microsoft ever produces is the evil spawn of satin, blue screens, isnt cool, and sucks. Even though anyone from the INQ never tested it, seen it, or even tried Windows 7. In fact its a job requirement to work for theINQ you must hate anything Microsoft says or does. Just ignore that theINQ is an ASP based website. Be surprised it doesn't blue screen your browser when you come here. I'm sure the staff if surprised their site is even up and running when Linux would be so much more reliable.
So is this a good phone? They make it out to be doomed before its been tried. I like usable phones though, My Net10 Samsung 451c is great for texting especially with the sliding keyboard and 5c texts. Cheap and it works so that makes me happy. Think ill stick to my Net10 and hear how people rate it.
I just switched to a Dext and it seems pretty flexible compared to an iphone (widgets on desktop). The Happenings widget is pretty cool for keeping track of your social happenings, and being able to multitask w/ the Android OS is a big reason for this...
You should elaborate on why you said pukka or this is a pretty biased article :-P
Those looking for the iPhone killer can find it in Droid.
iPhone
AT&T is their network (FAIL)
130,000 apps (You only need at most 50 good ones.)
Horrible security
Droid
Verizon is their network (WIN)
30,000 Apps (You only need at most 50 good ones.) In a see of 30,000 you have that answer.
Flash (WIN)
No Apple Censorship (Win)
Microsoft Mo7 abandons all previous stuff which is what was killing them. Its tightly integrated with Exchange/Microsoft's product suits. Doesn't require you to buy additional servers like Blackberry or iPhone to incorporate into a companies infrastructure and doesn't add any additional cost for support and equipment in the process. Corporate world Windows Mobile 7 offers more for less.
Windows Mobile 7 is a Blackberry killer first and since most people like the ZuneHD interface over the iPod/iPhone interface it stands to chip away at the iPhone market share just like droid is doing.
Busting that bubble Droid sales are just about to exceed iPhone sales. Iphone still has the market share but within the next month or two the iPhone will be the second fastest selling phone. This is why Apple is rushing to get iPhone 4.0 and iPhoneHD because they are about to be outdone.

Facebook became plain annoying when people started sending me pigs and flowers and asking for 6 more people to build a chicken coup. Now they can farm all day at work without getting busted for using the office 'net.
Microsoft will have 3 mobile operating systems on the market at the same time. WinMo, WinPho7, and Pink. Each one incompatible, and incapable of running the applications of the other. They will all fail.
