Are you that clueless?

"Microsoft's 2 Windows Phone platforms have both turned out to be duds.

Windows Mobile is now a dead platform walking, as major software vendors such as Adobe and Skype abandon it."

LOL! Is that why Windows Phone 7 is getting great reviews across the board? You're a clueless idiot.

As for Adobe, they haven't abandoned WP7 at all. In fact, they are practically in bed with Microsoft, and have already announced Flash support for WP7. Try to educate yourself.

How sad

This is Sad I was looking forward to having Firefox. I am on Net10 prepaid as it is very cost effective and I get exactly what I need, No contract, good rates and the phones work. I have been hoping firefox would get to all phones but my hopes are dashed. At least my great R452c will keep me happy with 10c minutes and 5c text.

the devil went down to georgia

It would so hilarious if Microsoft actually had a winner with this platform.
Already 64 bit windows is a little harder to install drivers, it woulnt surprise if in windows 8 driver install were disabled and could only be gotten from the windows marketplace.

Developers Developers Developers

This, from the company famous for "Developers! Developers! Developers! ..."??

I guess developers are important to Steve only when Bill says they are.

It's quite simple

"What...

I really don't understand. "We're going to make an OS but make it hard for people to make apps for it"?? That's like designing a sheet of paper that's hard to write on. It doesn't make any sense!"

They've seen the success of Apple's locked-down platform + appstore and are simply copying them.

I still find it amusing that MS needed to copy Apple to get down to their level of evilness.

I don't want WM7S

I have used WM6 for over a year now. Given the fact that Lotus Traveler and many other apps I use haven't started supporting Andriod, I really am not left with much of a choice.. Neither am a fan boy to run around using an iphone..

I've not been greatly impressed with either.. Blackberry sounded kinda good for sometime and now, its not good enough either.. I am going to take a SE X10 which runs Andriod with multi touch feature.. I hate M$ more than ever.. and they are going down for good..

Windows Phone is a Dud

Microsoft's 2 Windows Phone platforms have both turned out to be duds.

Windows Mobile is now a dead platform walking, as major software vendors such as Adobe and Skype abandon it.

Microsoft's next mobile OS, Windows Phone 7 Series is also turning out to be a flop. Microsoft has locked the platform down in more draconian ways than even Apple could have concocted. The NDK is secret, and only Microsoft's internal developers can use it for their own apps. For the rest of us, we only get access to managed code.

WP7S will be left with just one lousy web browser. The slow and dated Internet Explorer, and not even a new one. IE on WP7S will be based on the old IE7 which was released in 2006.
