Hey i remember being on my pc since the age 13 pretty much all the time. When my mom could not afford internet i used to run the dial up internet cable out my room and down the stairs trying to hide it, while my mom slept. How many times, bills would come through and my mom would throw a fit.

I turned out to be a normal person, with a good job and completely socially capable. They just want another excuse to 'treat' the children.

While i admit there will be cases of extreme obsession, i have seen some children freaking out over cancelled wow accounts. But banning them and cancelling internet is not going to solve anything.
