If you don't believe that your "news" is being censored, then They have already cleared the major hurdle.

Tyrants in the West are slick in framing "us versus them" with an external always shadowy enemy that justifies total surveillance, and at keeping the proles distracted with mindless entertainment.

Orwell predicted in the 1940's what's happening today with stunning accuracy; it's just taking longer to implement than planned.

But it IS happening *here* too, wherever your "here" happens to be.

Don't forget online gambling and betting

Our government censored online betting sites since they harm state-owned lottery and we're in EU

Hah

You are charmingly naïve 008Zulu.
They have always managed to censor in the 'free' world, often with the help and cooperation of the 'free' people I might add.
But it's not censoring if the west does it, only if 'they' do it, those evil people 'out' there, in fact they are such evil censors that their view are blocked, or those that support them, to protect you you know..

Try as they might.

They can try to filter and censor the internet as much as they want, but they fail to realise, or ignore, the fact that no matter how good your techs are, the people in the free world are always that much better.
