legacy of Jen Tsun Huang

China gives us toxic lead paint toys for our kids, poisonous Melamine laced milk for their kids, and we give them defective nVidia chipsets. Seems fair.

Interesting...

Chinese consumers want a recall of defective products - hmmm...how about the hundreds, if not thousands, of American consumers living in homes with unhealthy Chinese drywall?

i was a victim too

I bought a dv9000 one, send it back to hp 4 times (always the same faulty nvidia chip, a 7600 in my case).
They extended the warranty for an extra year or so. Anyway, like 6 months ago it failed again, no warranty same problem, so I ended up with a useless piece of plastic. I tried to sell the working pieces on ebay, but since there are so many laptops like this one that failed, the price of the components was almost zero (the lcd bid was 1 dollar, with only one hour to finish)

same in HK

Perhaps, my compaq has this faulty chip. When I went to service center, a lot of people took their notebook similar model with this problem.
