If its the same app which have been out for some time then it's absolutely useless (at least to me). How can they justify not allowing Skype to make calls over Wi-Fi? The only way to do it is to use your data connection using your allowed data allowance - as I said - useless.

Well for those that remembered they were using a Nokia and not a tied, bound and hog-tied iPhone, it's been available directly from the Skype website for quite a while.
