Sony had to buy this technology, it didn't develop it. Sony's methods of marketing will make it sell only to over-medicated males, and nobody else. Sony is a dying company. Stay away or fail too.

The Arc will be far superior..

1) It has buttons so you can shoot and do many things that will be impossible to do with a web cam like natal.

2) It can be very precise and exact on many tasks like holding a flashlight in game and angling it, grabing things in game precisely, etc. like was already demonstrated in the demos. It can do far more tasks far better than the natal web cam will ever do by itself.

Microsoft couldn't even develop Natal itself, it had to go out and buy it from someone else... lame

Dyer seems a little ticked that they didn't move on the zcam technology before ms. An opportunity totally missed. The ultimate system would combine them both not just the lame eye toy. Arc is better than Natal because the programmers can make games faster? Is that the only reason? Hell I could have said more than that.

I dont know it's just me but my thought is ms pretty much have a lot of the typical game movements programmed already. heck i even think ms is wrong to say games cant be retrofitted.

The difference between both will be the experience. Natal will offer a more compelling one than the arc. However arc is more familiar. The people that like wii will move imho to the ps3 before the xbox for that reason
