If they cannot use that then you lot stop speaking English. Same thing :P

Also Ya slam MS for taking a year to bring it out but wait they have had it out since sep so there has been no issue.

There is no point bringing it out the same time as full Windows 7 because it forces you to pay the extra. The ROM version will be cheaper so this is just marketing or as I say common sense. Look at Apple they do it but worse, dropping the price once the fanatics have had there munch on it.

Oh if ya want something that is taking a while to happen. Windows 7 on Apple Bootcamp. LOL...

Linux faithful? Did I even mention Linux? Perhaps I'm a smug Mac user? Maybe I like VMS on the VAX.

I will say this - I know crap when I see it, and LoseDoze Vista and LoseDoze 7 certainly pass the smell test for bloat and DRM infested garbage.

I never said the only diff was name between LoseDoze Vista and LoseDoze 7 - I made a simple comparison between what Micr0$ucks once called a SP and what they now call a version update. But I don't fault them for this, the absolutely HAD to change the name and version to cover their butts.

I'm glad I'm not working on YOU'RE machine either, I'm sure that would be a trip. Stock tip for the day - dump your shares in M$ and take the capital gains loss on your fed taxes while there is still some value in the investment.

MS bashing aside

They will only sell it if there is a market for it. We seem to forget that the unwashed masses will never spend the time or effort required to learn something new. This is the reason Windows has the lions share of the OS market. Sure, there were some very questionable business practices in getting there, but they maintain their dominance because they have put a great deal of work into keeping it easy for the masses.

@Hucklebuck
The Linux faithful (And before you flame me, I use Linux AND Windows) bash MS when they rush software to market (Vista) and bash them when they take their time to get it as close to right as possible. (Quebec) By all means, bash MS for their mistakes, but some of you bash MS for no other reason than to bash them and reassure your geekdome.

And if you think that the only difference between 7 and Vista is the name, I'm glad your not working on my machines.

Oh the irony in the codename Qubec - I'm shir all you Canadians outside of the respectively name province know what I'm talking about here.

There is less difference between LoseDoze Vista and LoseDoze 7 than there is between LoseDoze XP SP1 and LoseDoze XP SP2, but understandably Micr0$ucks HAD to change the version and the name after the fiasco that was Vista.

Name change - now THAT is innovation. Only taking a year to make it ROMable? True, unheralded, sweeping and insightful design.

If only they could come up with some way to tie their desktop monopoly to embedded device to MANDATE such acceptance of their products, EVERYBODY would be better off.

"2011". This is FEBRUARY.

"I'm so THREE thousand and eight, they's
re so two thousand and LATE..."

At least Ubuntu 9.10 came OUT in 2009/2010...

...hey, wait. This is Windows 7 in ROM? It will come out a YEAR later than retail Windows 7?

Assuming they did this for previous versions already, how hard is it to do it again?
