2.5" drives are used in enterprise drives, as smaller platters reduce the seek time. It has been like this for years.

The fact that someone is slinging 1TB drives in the 2.5" (but 11mm high) form factor is completely irrelevant.

I thought 2.5-inch was the size they use in laptops. Also, I heard that someone is slinging 1TB drives at this size.

Agreed

Seagate are absolutely terrible. Two 500gb ENTEPRISE drives I got for christmas last year just made it to july before failing. All they did was store media content and they had a 50gb partition for active torrents. Seagate, more like Sh*t*gate

Reliable?

I wonder if it as anywhere as "reliable" as my 7200.10,.11, and .12 drives. So reliable they almost lasted 1/2 the warranty period. Go Seagate!
