The fact that someone is slinging 1TB drives in the 2.5" (but 11mm high) form factor is completely irrelevant.

Seagate are absolutely terrible. Two 500gb ENTEPRISE drives I got for christmas last year just made it to july before failing. All they did was store media content and they had a 50gb partition for active torrents. Seagate, more like Sh*t*gate
I wonder if it as anywhere as "reliable" as my 7200.10,.11, and .12 drives. So reliable they almost lasted 1/2 the warranty period. Go Seagate!
