people that buy this or the ipad are just buying the name or the gimmick. the actuall functionality you can get from a standard laptop far outweighs these! sure, you want something smaller you can carry around, evey manufacturer under the sun makes small laptops that are 10" across, panosonic made a touch screen one which has an optional keyboard years ago! and what on earth is new with this aside from its got a nokia sticker on it? prob straight out the asus factory!

... you can get the Alienware M11x, which is only 11" and has the horsepower to run most games at a high level of detail. Seems massively over-priced to me.

... I'll give it a miss. I can buy a proper notebook AND a netbook for that!

Why "shudder" at the thought of Windows 7?
I have just upgraded my VAIO from Vista and it is now much faster and far more user friendly! I have a few driver issues but nothing I wont solve in time and I blame Sony for that anyway. I love it!
Gonna wait a few more years before I buy a netbook.... technology has a little further to go!
