Bluetooth 2

And what about the upcoming bluetooth 2.0? Seems like another HD-DVD vs. Bluray to me lol.

It doesn't replace Bluetooth.

TransferJet is intended for a range of just a few inches at very high speed. Think of it in terms of highspeed data transmission between two devices without the hassle of having to physically cable them together. Simple close proximity is enough.

How does this replace bluetooth?

I'm lost how does this replace bluetooth?

It seems more like a replacement for the aged InfraRed tech.

This doesn't work without line of sight..& touch the device to transfer please.

It's hardly a replacement for bluetooth or WiFi.

It's a neat tech none the less but I don't think it'll get as popular as bluetooth
