Not such a bad thing...

A reboot every two hours - that's normal for Windows isn't it?

Linux is a nice replacement ...

BUT there's always the obstacle of running games(and Adobe-suite etc.). It is possible to run games on Linux, I've succeeded to run Fallout 3 pretty much foolproof at Ultra-settings on my Ubuntu-box. But, it took days of work to get it up and running, and that is just one game. I don't think gamers are amused by spending days for setting every game up, and then only a handful will truly run as they're supposed to. To have to get Windows 7 instead of the aging XP is a no-brainer for all gamers. And a console doesn't replace the full gaming experience for dedicated PC-gamers.

@anon

Thats a good comeback "anon", if that is your real name.

Calling someone gay because of the Linux build they use? Genius.

Do you use one of them non-"faggot" builds? Kindly share which one because I don't want anyone think I like boys cos I use Arch.

More on topic - So this RTM build you speak of will not get crippled?

They're not virus proof btw. Just not economically viable enough to write viruses for.
