Gold, knowledge and money are very similar

Discovering them takes hard work and a tenacious attitude. There are a million theories out there for how to do any one thing. Some are wrong, some are bad wrong, some are good ideas, and some are fabulous ideas. But until someone takes the time to actually seriously try them, we don't know. Thomas Edison made thousands of prototypes before he finally came up with the light bulb. But once the world knew the right way, then anyone could imimtate it. This is the way knowledge works, the screwups are almost as important as the successes despite the fact they won't get any press once the better way is found.

They say that all of us stand on the shoulders of giants, but I say the people that helped to narrow down the possibilities are important as well.

So if you strive to do something and screw up, be sure to brag about the attempt so that people have the potential to benefit from your failure. For where would people like Bill Gates be without millions of people actually wanting to own his stuff?
