Larrabee? You bring up Larrabee?

What does Intel have to say to you to convince you that there is no Larrabee on the way? Apparently the 5 years of talking about it and nothing to show for it didn't convince you. Did their graphics drivers that have always had artifacts and compatibility issues not convince you, either?

I guess Intel saying "Larrabee won't be coming out as a consumer product" wasn't enough, either.

Since it wasn't, go ahead and keep hyping, pretending that Intel is in any way shape or form anything other than a blight on the GPU landscape. This is going to be the year, too, that it finally is revealed that Intel was wrong and that GPU's are necessary - they just have nothing worth having to sell and no drivers to run it even if they had hardware.

Sorry to be harsh, but discussing Intel and GPUs is laughable, at best.

spintel propaganda

you 2 little paid fanboys should have respect for readers - esp. in light of the upcoming NewYork/FTC antitrusts. There is no larrabee/oops/shelved unless they want to name a wrench after it. classy.
How much does spintel pay for new pedal-metrics in marketing - of course, they never bribed the oem's either - spintel stuffing a lame IGP under the cpu-lid, is nothing like AMDFusion - but I have learned and expect such seduction from spintel. spintel does not have graphics. Have fun at the antitrust celebrations, lamers.
Other readers, wake up! insidious marketeers alert! aka paid spintel fanboys. everywhere.

Larrabee 1 no, but 2 yes

The first larrabee will be a HPC part only. But if intel manage to tweak it enough to compete with FERMI and ATI 5XXX this year, you can bet it'll be launched.
Intel integrated it's own GPU in Core i3/i5. AMD will do the same soon... That will efectively kick nVidia out the IGP market.

I hope that Intel will roll out Larrabee this year.

With discrete GPU products, Intel could gain more market share. I believe OEMs will be preferred to equip an Intel discrete GPU for Intel based PC.
